KASSEM DARWISH FAKHRO & SONS was founded as a holding company in 1973 by the Late Father Kassem Darwish Fakhro to be as a holding of Darwish Trading, which has been in business for more than 75 years in Qatar involved in various and diversified sectors of Trading and services.
The Holding company was also founded for the purpose of establishing a number of other business subsidiaries in the fields of Civil Construction, Electro-mechanical, Elevators, Oil Services, Transportation, Travel & Tourism, Cargo & Hospitality. Such extension was a strategic move to accommodate for the ambitious and rapid economical and infrastructure developments in Qatar, which has surged both construction and trading activities in the country.
The Darwish Trading Co. and all the subsidiaries which come under the holding company Kassem Darwish Fakhro & Sons is known as the Darwish Group. Ownership and Management of the Group is vested with the Board of Partners, represented by the Chairman / Authorized Partner and Vice Chairman / Executive Director.
The Darwish Group is now considered as a household name in Qatar with its diversified activities. The Group also has for a long time a well established, strong and a significant presence in the UAE.
